Scott Lowry, our Lead Pastor, was introduced to the church as a "bus kid." As a college freshman, God placed a clear call to preach on his heart and opened many doors of opportunity even as a "student preacher." During one of these services, Terry, a high school senior committed her life to Christ . . . neither had any idea that in 2007 they would celebrate thirty-five years of marriage.
Pastor Scott passionately preaches and teaches the Bible commonly using humor, video resources, and audience interaction to help listeners deal with the "real" issues of life. His heart's desire is to be a disciple of Christ who "makes disciples who make disciples."
Pastor has served in many areas of leadership not only church related, including but not limited to, foster care, youth athletics, and community chaplaincy. He has spoken at numerous camps, retreats, revivals, seminars, and banquets. He has "planted" two churches personally, and "coached" young pastors and assisted in starting and restarting seven others.
He and Terry have three children, four grandchildren, and a '67 Mustang!
